Thursday was the Fall Out Boy concert. I was so thrilled that I even borrowed a 2gig SD Card for my digital camera. But then my companion backed-out because she has to attend to some sisterly duties. Good thing my original companion was able to go with me. (Thanks a lot Madel, it really means a million to me! =p)The concert was short and we can't help but to compare it with the Moffatts' concert we've been to. It's much more energetic. Or maybe it's just because we weren't really that fanatic. And come on, we were in our working attire, we simply couldn't just go wild. =p I just knew some of their songs and my friend wasn't really a fan but good thing we ended up liking most of the songs, it's just that we couldn't sing along most of the time. No Jack's Mannequin but Chicosci didn't make a bad frontact since Madel and I both agreed that the frontman looks good. =p
Friday, had lunch with skating buddies, Len and Felise. Too bad, we weren't able to take pictures. I almost never go out for lunch so this was a good opportunity for me to have some fun time at lunch. Not that I don't have fun with my co-workers, it's just nice to spend it to people who you don't get to see on an everyday basis. This was also our first time to eat and meet without skating. We also get to talk other things beside skating. =p If only it was not lunch and our time is not limited, we were able to share endless stories. Looking forward to more bonding moments with them, including Tine. :)
Saturday, I planned to watch Elliott Yamin's mall show in Glorietta with Jill and her friend. But I must have gotten the times mixed up and got there at 8pm when the show started at 7pm. Obviously, I missed it but we got to see him. He was really nice to his fans and even from afar I can see that he's one genuine person. :) It would've been worse if Andee wasn't with me because Jill and her friend already left when I got there, so instead Andee and I just hangout and ate dinner. We missed the MRT on the way home though. How unlucky for me eh? But I still had fun because I get to hangout with Andee and was improving on my 1ft. spin before Andee and I met up. I started crossing over as entrance for the 1ft. spin and my coach wasn't that disappointed. :)
Sunday, I was late for my choir service again but didn't dare miss it this time. But the Priest had such a long Homily that I was late for lunch with Madel and Shasha. They said they were used to it but I was more grateful that I didn't push them to their limits. Shasha showed TriNoMa with me and Madel. We had a great time catching up with each other. They gave me gifts! I wasn't able to give Shasha any birthday present becaus obviously I was late to meet them. (Shasha & Madel: if you're reading this, thanks a lot for the present. It really means a lot to me and made me happy. :) I'll make it up to you next time. :) )
They wanted to try ice skating. Soo looking forward to our next getaway! :) Shasha's sisters, Meme and Tere were there also. It was fun that we weren't awkward with each other, actually it made more things fun because there are lots stories to share! Thanks for Meme's experience in her OB work. =p
Afterwards I was supposed to meet Atess and watch Elliott Yamin's mall show in Market! Market! But eventually had to back out because she wasn't feeling well. I was contemplating with myself if I'll just ditch the mall show and practice ice skating. But I decided that I can practice anytime but the mall show happens rarely, if not once in a lifetime. So what I did is I dragged my mom with me. Good thing she went with me, thanks a lot Mama! :)
After that monday, I went to ice skating practice. I only get to practice the 1ft. spin and nothing else. I guess I don't have problems with spinning but Erwin has noticed a lot of points on which where I can improve. Too bad I already felt dizzy and wasn't able to do his tips. But so looking forward to skating tomorrow. I really hope coach is going to be there. =p
Btw, I had another interview yesterday so I wasn't able to skate but then I meet with the buddies afterwards, Len and Tine. And Len gave me chopsticks as a pasalubong from her trip in Singapore and a fancy pouch bag as a birthday gift from Tine. It feels like it really is a birthday month for me! :)
I guess the interview wasn't that bad. It wasn't a panel interview, the interviewer was a girl and she seemed nice and wasn't that intimidating and also, we were conversant. But I got it confused with Java and SAP. But reality check, I have no idea how the interview went. I really hope I'll hear from them again 'cause I want so bad to get in there.
